Shooting for the Stars

Born in the Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO Heritage Site where nature is both dominant and cherished by its inhabitants, Sara learned early that taste, knowledge and awareness matter, especially when harvesting edible herbs and mushrooms in the forest. 

After graduating in International Relations in Rome, Sara spent a harvest season in southern Tuscany before heading towards the North Sea where she remained for quite some time. Eventually, she headed back south, this time combining the good south-European weather with the Atlantic and settling between Portugal and Italy.  

Gastronomer and gourmet in training, Sara sits at a crossroads between hedonism and health. She gives a lot of thoughts about food and writes food for thoughts.

Sara believes that whilst eating is a necessity, eating well is a virtue, and telling it is an art.
